Amazon Fungible SDEI intern
Amazon Fungible SDEI Intern Experience
I recently completed the online assessment (OA) for the Amazon Fungible Software Development Engineer Intern (SDEI) position. The assessment was quite challenging, and I managed to solve 12 out of 15 test cases in the second question and 15 out of 15 in the first question. Naturally, this has left me feeling a bit anxious about my chances of receiving an interview call, especially since I couldn’t pass all the test cases.
Sharing Experiences
I’m reaching out to see if anyone else here has had similar experiences. Did anyone receive an interview call despite not passing all the test cases? It would be great to hear about your journey and any insights you might have!

Success Story: One user shared that they received an offer after scoring 15/15 and 8/15 on their assessment. This gives hope to those of us who might not have performed as well on every question. It highlights that scoring well on one part can still lead to success!

Timing of Results: Another commenter mentioned taking their online assessment on December 18 and receiving their results on the same day. They are still waiting to hear back. It seems that the timing of feedback can vary, which adds to the anticipation.

Follow-Up Emails: An interesting insight came from a user who received an email after their OA. This email stated that the job ID might change to match a team and included prep materials for the entire hiring process. They noted that this follow-up was not typical for their friends who took the OA. This could be a positive sign, indicating that the recruitment team is still considering candidates even if they didn’t pass all test cases.
Conclusion
Navigating the Amazon SDEI intern application process can be quite nerve-wracking, especially when performance on assessments can vary significantly. However, it’s reassuring to see stories of success and to share experiences with others in the same boat. If you’ve gone through the Amazon OA or are currently in the process, I’d love to hear your experiences and thoughts!
