DSA Study Group -Basics to Advanced within **7 MONTHS**
# DSA Study Group - Basics to Advanced within **7 MONTHS**
Hello everyone!
As a current Computer Science student in my 7th semester of the 4th year, I have been on a journey to master Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA). I believe that collaboration and consistent practice can significantly enhance our learning experience, so I am reaching out to find like-minded individuals who are also interested in sharpening their coding skills through a dedicated DSA study group.
### Why DSA?
Data Structures and Algorithms are foundational concepts in computer science that can greatly impact your programming and problem-solving skills. A solid understanding of DSA not only helps in cracking coding interviews but also equips you with the tools to write efficient code in real-world applications.
### My Progress So Far
To date, I have completed the foundational concepts of searching algorithms. This includes linear search, binary search, and understanding their respective time complexities. I am now looking to progress further into more advanced topics, including sorting algorithms and their optimizations.
### Group Goals
The primary goal of this study group will be to cover DSA topics from the basics to advanced levels within **7 months**. Here are the rules I propose we follow to ensure we stay on track:
1. **Stay Consistent**: Consistency is key in mastering DSA. Even if it's just one question a day, every bit counts towards our goal.
2. **Daily Progress Updates**: Let's keep each other accountable. A daily or weekly check-in on our progress can help maintain motivation.
3. **Collaborative Learning**: Sharing insights, resources, and challenges will help us learn from each other and deepen our understanding.
### How to Join
If you're interested in joining this study group, feel free to DM me! Let’s connect and discuss our current learning stages and set up a plan that works for all of us.
### Community Engagement
I also encourage everyone interested to follow the community and share your progress. Engaging with others who are on the same journey can provide additional motivation and resources. Here’s a great place to start: [DSA with Consistency Community](https://www.reddit.com/r/DSA_with_consistency/).
### Top Comments from the Community
- **User 1**: "All the people who are interested, please follow this community and keep posting your progress every day!"
- **User 2**: "I’m interested!"
- **User 3**: "Hello! I'm also in my 7th Sem and am around sorting. I guess we both could keep the pace together. I'm determined to stay consistent and have been for the past month. DM for further discussion, waiting. :)"
### Conclusion
Embarking on the DSA journey can be challenging, but it's also incredibly rewarding. By forming a study group, we can motivate each other and ensure we stay consistent in our efforts. Let's come together to learn, share, and grow our coding skills!
Looking forward to hearing from you!
