# Hit 700 Today: My Journey as a Backend Developer

Hello, everyone! Today, I hit a significant milestone in my career as a backend developer—I reached a medium count of 700 on my coding journey! 🎉 As someone with 2 years of experience in this field, I can honestly say that the past couple of years have been a rollercoaster ride filled with challenges, growth, and a few frustrations along the way.

## The Current Situation

Currently, I find myself in a position where I’m not entirely satisfied with my job. Despite having a decent salary of 23 LPA (Lakhs Per Annum), I feel unfulfilled in my current role. This has driven me to push harder in my professional development and seek new opportunities that align better with my aspirations.

I’ve set a target for myself to reach 600 in my coding challenges by September 30. This number isn’t just a random goal; it represents a significant benchmark in my journey. Once I hit this target, I plan to actively seek referrals for new job opportunities.

## Why Referrals Matter

Referrals can be a game changer in the job search process. They can significantly increase your chances of landing interviews and getting noticed by hiring managers. That’s why I’m reaching out to my network. If anyone is willing to provide a referral once I hit my target, please feel free to DM me. I promise to only ask for help once I achieve the 600 mark!

## Priorities for My Next Job

When considering my next job opportunity, I have a few key priorities in mind:

1. **Remote Work**: The flexibility of remote work is incredibly appealing to me. It allows for a better work-life balance and the ability to work from anywhere.

2. **Salary Expectations**: I’m aiming for a salary of 30 LPA. While I appreciate my current salary, I believe my skills and experience warrant a higher compensation.

## Community Support

I’ve shared my journey with some amazing people who have provided invaluable support. Here are some of the encouraging comments I’ve received:

- **"W!"**: A simple yet powerful acknowledgment of my efforts. It always feels great to have the community cheering you on!

- **"The medium to easy ratio shows the learning curve. BIG W!"**: This comment highlights the importance of understanding the learning curve in our field. It’s a reminder that growth often comes with challenges, and each step forward is worthy of celebration.

- **"23 with 2 years is great bro!"**: This feedback serves as a reminder that while I may feel dissatisfied, my current compensation is quite competitive for someone with my experience level. It’s important to recognize accomplishments along the way!

## Closing Thoughts

As I continue my journey toward reaching 600 and seeking new opportunities, I’m grateful for the support and encouragement from my peers. The tech community is filled with individuals who understand the struggles and triumphs of this field, and it’s this sense of camaraderie that keeps me motivated.
