I hope this post finds you well. I wanted to share my journey over the past few months as I navigate the job market in search of a remote Marketing Director role. Unfortunately, due to a recent department restructuring, I was let go from my position after nearly three years. While this has been a challenging time, I’m determined to find a role that aligns with my experience and career goals.
The Job Search Journey
Since my departure, I’ve been actively applying for positions that match my skill set. To date, I’ve submitted 88 applications, had 2 interviews, and faced 14 rejections. While I have had some promising conversations, the interviews did not result in any offers, which has been disheartening.
Despite the challenges, I am committed to continuing my job search. However, during this process, I’ve come to realize that working with a recruitment agency specializing in marketing leadership roles could potentially be a game-changer.
